Lunderland Wild Salmon Oil
Lunderland wild salmon oil comes from Alaskan salmon that were caught by sustainable and traceable means. The oil is obtained from the first mechanical pressing of the fish body without additional heat (cold pressing). Due to the clean waters near the poles, this oil is only filtered but not refined or deodorized. Gently processed, this wild salmon oil is much stabler than highly purified oils and includes the entire spectrum of crucial salmon-oil nutrients (astaxanthin, phospholipids, omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins, etc.) that are usually eliminated during the refining process. The omega-3 fatty acid content is up to 10 times higher than the omega-6 fatty acid content.
Animals typically enjoy its fishy taste; however, for animals not used to the taste, small amounts of oil can be added to your pets food. For fish lovers, the oil will, of course, be delightful. The orange color of the oil comes from the shells of crustaceans, which are the main food source of salmon. The streaky deposits and cloudiness come from natural waxes retained by this unrefined oils.
Wild salmon oil has many uses. Administration is advised during pregnancy and puppy rearing. The oil positively affects both the coat and the skin, reducing, for example, itchiness and dandruff. Since it contains a lot of omega 3 fatty acids, it can also have a positive effect on metabolism, allergies and inflammation.
