The Chew Stix from Hirschalm are a natural product for extra-long chewing sessions. Dogs have a natural instinct to chew, an activity that helps them relax. However, traditional snacks usually get chewed up in 30-45 minutes. In contrast, these antlers from Hirschalm, which contain many important minerals, can last up to several weeks. Furthermore, chewing removes deposits from your dog’s teeth.
Deer shed their antlers annually, as part of the antlers’ natural growth process. Hirschalm only uses such shed antlers, all of which come from wild deer in Austria. After being collected, each antler is washed and processed. No preservatives, colors or flavors are added.
Antler bones consist of about 54% lime and 44% organic substances, which are rich in minerals and good for the body and teeth. Hirschalm’s antlers are durable, sweet smelling, and not sticky. The antlers that have been halved lengthwise are particularly suitable for beginners, making it easy for your dog to reach the soft interior.
