Ticks do not primarily find their hosts by sight, but mainly through subtle scent signals. Using the Haller’s organ, they detect carbon dioxide, sweat, and certain substances naturally released by the body. These very signals are what make an animal attractive to ticks.
Natural rock rose formulas work precisely at this point: they can influence the dog’s natural scent in such a way that it becomes harder for ticks to detect. This offers a natural way to support the dog during tick season.
