EDELBEISS - VEGETABLE FLAKES
The gluten-free vegetable flakes from Sonnenberg`s EDELBEISS are the perfect addition to pure and raw meat as a useful addition to dog meals. Dogs have a natural need for carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins that are not covered in meat alone. With this digestible and easily digestible mixture of carrots, beetroot and peas you contribute to a balanced diet for your dog.
Let the vegetable flakes soak in lukewarm water for 10-15 minutes before feeding and then mix with the meat.
In the context of a biologically appropriate raw feeding (B.A.R.F.), a ratio of 80% meat to 20% vegetables is the most commonly used rule. However, this division should be adapted to the individual needs of your dog. The absorption of nutrients is facilitated by supplementing the meal with a good vegetable (e.g. linseed oil, rapeseed oil) or animal oil (e.g. salmon oil, cod liver oil). Since many BARF menus are made without the bones of the prey animal, the addition of calcium to neutralize the phosphorus in the meat is essential. A balanced calcium / phosphorus ratio is 1.3: 1.
Sonnenberg`s EDELBEISS feed supplements are produced in southern Germany. Only regional vegetables are used, if possible from organic cultivation in the vicinity.
